Openwork

Openwork is an open-source AI agent which can be installed on Mac to automate your work. It features local computer-use capabilities, reading files, creating documents, and automating repetitive knowledge work by utilizing your AI models of choice. Openwork operates on your computer, enabling it to rename and organize files based on their content, generate or rewrite documents, and summarise the contents of selected folders. Additional features include creating calendar entries from meeting notes, drafting follow-up documents, and preparing folders for projects by setting up files and structures. Openwork ensures your privacy by keeping all files on your machine unless explicitly permitted by the user. All of Openwork's actions are shown and approved before they are performed. Users have further customization options through using their own API key for AI models, like OpenAI or Anthropic, for example. Openwork also includes integration with various tools like Notion, Google Drive, and Dropbox through local APIs. Users can define repeatable workflows and save them as skills that can be accessed anytime. Lastly, Openwork is completely open source under the MIT license, its code is available on GitHub for anyone to modify.
