Portrait Pal is an AI-based tool designed to generate professional headshots from user-provided photographs. By using a branch of Stable Diffusion, an advanced deep learning model, the technology iteratively refines a noisy image to produce a high-quality result. Each user's images are trained and fine-tuned individually to generate realistic headshots, utilizing a method called fine-tuning and control. This process involves further training on a smaller, more specific dataset to optimize the tool for a particular task. The technology also uses Variational Autoencoders (VAEs) to assist in generating high-resolution images. For ideal results, the tool recommends users to provide a mix of selfies, candids, and clear portraits with different angles, lighting conditions, and expressions. Once the AI headshots are created, users obtain full rights to their images for use across all personal and professional platforms without any restrictions. For user privacy and data security, all uploaded images are used solely to generate headshots and are deleted from the servers after the process is complete.
